Mimidi

Mimidi is a nice MIDI player for your PocketPC!

It allows you to play MIDI files (e.g. one exported from PocketSynth Pro, PocketDrums, or Midnote) directly on your handheld. Because it synthesizes the sounds in real time instead of using complete samples, it uses only very little memory (about 300KB). I addition, the latest version of MidNote integrates this player to provide polyphonic playing of the full piece.

Mimidi was written by K.Akiyama in Japan and is available as Freeware. On his original Mimidi webpage/ the author provides the program only as .cab files which are a bit awkward to install for an inexperienced user (and even worse, Netscape corrupts the files when you try to download them). Last but not least the webpage is in Japanese. Because of that, we decided to create a fully automated installer for Mimidi and provide it for free download on this webpage.
